This 18cm 8 ohm woofer is the product of many years research at Scanspeak R&D, Videbaek, Denmark and brings together many advancements.
Featuring a unique airflow optimised open chassis and underhung Neodymium SD-3 magnet system, this woofer is free from compression & reflection effects, resulting in highly accurate reproduction. With a rigid aluminium alloy cone, copper capped pole piece & huge linear excursion, this audiophile quality driver operates as a pure piston delivering highly accurate bass reproduction with great authority, extension and texture.
