Scanspeak D3004/604010 Beryllium Tweeter - Illuminator Range

Scanspeak D3004/604010, compact 1" Beryllium dome tweeter. Large rear chamber.

This compact tweeter is the big brother of model  D3004/604000  and features the same pure Beryllium dome but with a larger rear chamber for a very low Fs of just 450 Hz.

Beryllium offers an ideal weight to stiffness ratio with high internal damping; the transient response of this tweeter is superb and the sound is fully comparable to the renowned full size Illuminator and Revelator tweeters.

The dome features a protective multi-hex grille making it ideal for car doors. A solid choice for high-end compact DIY / home-built monitor speaker and custom in-car applications. If mounting in a car door please check the projection of the rear chamber.
