Accuton C50-8-044 Ceramic Dome Tweeter

The C50-8-044 is a mid-treble drive unit featuring an ultra hard ceramic (Sapphire) 50mm inverted dome in an 106 mm square frontplate.

Precision cut apertures in the ceramic diaphragm provide critical damping of the 19 kHz dome resonance.

An overhung motor design with vented aluminium voice coil former guarantees low energy storage and excellent heat transfer. The soft fabric surround and ferrofluid with high viscosity center the moving parts with exceptional linearity.

This exotic unit has a very wide useable bandwidth. We recommend a crossover frequency of above 800 Hz.
