The Accuton S280-6-282 is an esoteric 11 inch (280mm) bass drive unit primarily intended for medium to large sized 3 way designs and studio monitors of the highest quality.

This high end driver features an ultra stiff ceramic sandwich cone with a soft rubber long throw surround. The large Neodymium magnet and 55mm titanium former yield very low distortion levels. The unique multi spoke chassis design offers incredible rigidity whilst maximising airflow around the rear of the diaphragm.

The spider, pole and voice coil former are fully ventilated for minimal compression. This driver has a substantial power rating of 150 watts and with a peak excursion of 12mm offers effortless and highly accurate bass reproduction.
