We are on holiday until 6th Dec - you can still place orders, they will be processed when we return. Thankyou, Will & Caroline.
The Mission 780 and 782 (mark 2 models including SE variants) featured an innovative drive unit with a 'ceraform' cone; this was technically very clever but fatally flawed as the adhesives used denature with time causing severe corrosion of the voice coil rendering the drive unit inoperable.
Featuring a composite alloy cone, a rigid cast chassis and a central phase plug this replacement drive unit integrates well without further changes and represents a cost effective way of bringing these classic speakers back to life.
Please note: Some work is required. This drive unit shares the same chassis size and profile as the commonly used Audax HM130; modification to the rear of the plastic front trim or routing of the baffle is required for this drive unit to fit correctly; any efforts are well worthwhile as this replacement sounds very good.
Sold and priced as singles.
