The SB26STCN-C000-4 is a 26mm soft dome tweeter from SB Acoustics featuring a low distortion shielded neodymium magnet system in a very compact body. The on-axis response is excellent to beyond audibility. Fantastic value.

Order and delivery was a very pleasant process, I loved the hand written 'thank you' for my order on the delivery/packing note from Will and Caroline😎
Ordered this tweeter as replacement for Monitor Audio Silver RS6 TRS-025. Only slight resizing of the cabinate hole required, the original fixing holes required no adjustment, fitment took aprox 10 minutes per box.
No crossover adjustment made, some say a 1ohm resister in series might be required...personal choice.
The sound, wow, compared to the Monitor Audio TRS-025 which by comparison sounded like music was eminating through a cardboard muffle, i now have open and clear top end. Tremendous improvement. Vocals are placed accuratly, general sound stage makes for a new exciting listening pleasure.
Crossover improvements will follow, upgrading to quality components, but as a first stage, this change is phenominal.
The Monitor Audio Silver RS6's are very happy being driven by my old Quad 34/306. Thanks Will and Caroline, i will be back.
