In common with other Classic range bass units, this woofer sounds very smooth with good bass extension.
The Paper/Carbon fibre composite cone has a high internal damping factor and gives a very natural uncoloured sound.
Used in various mainstream and many DIY designs across the years.
Ideally suited to larger 3 way systems. Low Fs of 20Hz.

Excellent advice from will as usual and exactly what I wanted. These have improved the sound of my current speakers and taken them to another level. Sounds superb I can hear tonal difference's between things that I never heard before. Superb bass drivers dig so deep.

The paper cones in my very old Scanspeak bass speakers had failed and I sent them to another company to be repaired and never got them back! I was delighted to find an updated version was available from Willys Hifi and was a direct replacement without me having to alter my cabinets. Prompt service and excellent communication, one happy customer.
