I recently installed the Linn Keilidh active Tweeter Upgrade Kits from Willys Hifi. It works great! It took
1 month to get here snd had to pay an additional 90 euros in taxes and customs fees but it was well worth it!
The foam grill covers of my Mission 770s crumbled into dust many years ago. Only recently was I able to find what I thought would be a suitable replacement. Everything about the process went smoothly. The foam cut easily, looks good and, to my ears , is audibly transparent.
well packed, fast delivery, simple procedure
Finally got my electricity back today after the storm on Friday. Initially I was a bit apprehensive, as I had no experience in electronics. As I followed the colour coded looms, it got easier and more straightforward. Guess what! My Mission 753s sound better than they ever did in 1998 when I bought them brand new. New crossovers also brought one of my tweeters back to life (was dead for ten years) What a quality upgrade, worth every single penny. Willy and Caroline, you guys are legends.
Has fixed the slight grainy sound on my old Mission 771s. The tweeter had a stain on the back suggesting the fluid had escaped. Make sure you release(unsolder) the coil wires before splitting the tweeter. Audax have replacement tweeters TM025C1 albeit 8 ohm which is another way to go.
