This speaker was purchased to replace the old 15 inch driver in a Realistic MACH2 which had been stored for 30 years and the rubber surround had disintegrated.
It is a perfect replacement for the original in fact it gives more bass and enhances the overall sound . Everything has been replaced on this speaker, including internal wiring , crossovers mid range speaker & terminal connectors on the rear. The only thing that remains is the original Tweeter.
The Dayton now gives a speaker really smooth base and I’m loving it even more than my B&W 802 d3 . Can’t recommend it enough and a good price too .

I’ve used Audyn inductors before so I was not surprised by the high quality of construction and the close tolerances of these from Willy HiFi. I purchased capacitors from willys Hifi for the first time due to the fact they hard difficult capacitors to source and the price is great,I was restoring a pair of Dual cl 172 speakers that hadn’t been done since the 70s needing 60uF ,30uF and 5uF,the parts arrived brilliantly packaged and in two days,a brilliant performance,and the sound is like night and day wonderful clarity. So, when I got these delivered I found them to look oddly long. Be amazed at how much easier they are to work with than every thing else I’ve had over the years. I’ve used them in sets of 3 on an open baffle and H frame setup. The ones on the plinth, well adjustable from above. Definitely the way to do it.

Great upgrade over the later Keilidh SPKR15/3 3-bar tweeters in an aktiv setup. Great for music and movies

The item didn't arrive looking as pictured (no terminals on the side of the unit). But after a little kludging, I was able to make it work. The unit sounds great!

Thanks for the advice in relation to my old speakers, these tweeters sound amazing and only a faceplate exchange and a bit of soldering connections got them back up and running. Great service with prompt delivery to boot. Thanks again, Guy

My Naim SL2 Tweeter surrounds had turned to jelly. Messy to remove, but once cleaned off, these replacements are a great replacement.
