This 180mm / 7" bass-midrange unit features the patented woven glassfibre NRSC cone offering a very benign and smooth sound. The ferrite magnet assembly is aluminium ringed (sometimes called Faraday rings) to control rising impedance at higher frequency which in turn offers a wider useable bandwidth. This unit is a solid choice for 2 way DIY designs and also finds many applications as a high quality replacement drive unit.
Combining some advanced features, this is a great performer at this price point. Available in 4 and 8 ohms.
