The Fountek NeoCD3.5H is a development of the NeoCD3.0 with a horn loaded wave guide for increased efficiency, wider response and improved air coupling. This is a true ribbon tweeter featuring an 9 x 60mm diaphragm, a high power neodymium magnet and a rectangular alloy faceplate. The ribbon material is an ultra light (10mg) multilayer aluminium sandwich with a cross section of 0.015mm (approx 0.6 thou).
The end tensioning clamps form a substantial heatsink for the low impedance ribbon and an impedance matching transformer is built into the back of the housing.
We recommend a minimum crossover frequency of 2.5kHz / 18db octave.
