This Illuminator 15cm 8 Ohm midwoofer is a highly advanced unit featuring some very forward thinking technology. The unique alloy chassis is open and has been optimised for maximum airflow with minimum reflection / sound disturbance; the underhung Neodymium magnet is outrigged from the chassis and the spider is completely open on both sides - these advancements give excellent sound characteristics with no compression. All of the Illuminator midwoofers have a prodigious, deep bass response.
Featuring a unique patented long fibre cone, copper capped pole piece & huge linear excursion, this audiophile drive unit is at the very pinnacle of sound quality and design.
Available in 4 and 8 Ohm impedance.
