The Morel MW166 is a 6 inch drive unit featuring a rigid pressed steel chassis, a damped polymer cone, a huge 75mm Hexatech aluminium voice coil and a dual magnet system. Like it's smaller brother the MW144, this drive unit has a highish Qts of 0.58 and is designed to give a full bodied smooth response. As with all higher Qts drivers some design care is needed with ported or transmission line cabinets.
