The SB26STWGC-4 is a 26mm soft dome tweeter from SB Acoustics featuring a solid aluminium horn loaded faceplate / waveguide for improved air coupling and efficiency resulting in a high output of 93dB.

Good tweeter - but...

I've bought a pair of these for new 2-way project..
It sounds really good for dome tweeter, but as always there is a catch.
Unfortunately it proofed to be useless for crossing at recommended 2.6KHz.
Unlike datasheet frequency response, in the real life both of these tweeters
just keep rising from about 4.5KHz all the way down to Fs.
12dB/oct crossover at 2.6KHz just manages to flatten the response.
And I've tried both Linkwitz and Butterworth.
If you want to use this one, it needs crossing at 5KHz or higher so only good
for 3-way systems..
For now I've gone for something else. And these are going back to the box for next project..
