We recommend changing in pairs to maintain channel balance as older versions often have reduced output due to ferrofluid thickening.

Monopulse's Top End Restored

After 20 years my Monopulse 42a's seemed to be lacking sparkle. Based on photos of my old tweeters Will identified them as Vifa D26NC's and advised these were know to suffer from age related top end drop, but luckily he stocked the updated version. Ordered and received within 2 days and quickly fitted (mounting holes required enlarging a little to accommodate the new heatsink) they sound great! It wasn't my hearing after all!

Replacement tweeters running with two 4-ohm 8 inch Vifa drivers wired in series

Ordered two of these tweeters on Friday afternoon NZ time, amazingly they had arrived in Auckland the following Tuesday morning, arrived in my home town of Christchurch couple of days later and were promptly installed. Seem to be doing and sound as they should, thank you for your service!

Replacement tweeters for 2003 ATC SCM 12’s

The tweeters arrived promptly and packaged really well. For size and fitting they are a perfect replacement for the 55-06 units. As regard to SQ, at the moment they sound a little bright and forward; I’m hoping this will reduce a little as they run in. Maybe my ear is just used to the old OEM tweeters that were obviously quite a few db down after 20 years. Very much looking forward to hearing how they settle over the coming weeks. Thank you.
