The Scanspeak D2010/852100 is an updated version of the D2010/851100 using modern materials and manufacturing practices. Featuring a neodymium magnet assembly, multiple rear chambers, an anti diffraction foam front and a vented pole, this tweeter offers a smooth response and sounds very natural.

Please note: Although there are visual similarities, this is not a direct drop in D2010 replacement, some minor cabinet changes are required due to the position of the connection terminals as they are now on the back of the faceplate rather than the rear chamber cover (please see pictures 2 & 3).

Naim SL2 owners will need to drill the tweeter bracket in order to fit this item.

Scanspeak Replacement Tweeters for Proac Response 2.5

My 35 years old original Tweeters were losing some sparkle/volume and I had just replaced the second woofer in my 2.5s - so Googled to find Tweeter options. Found Willy's Hifi and the best currently available Scanspeak alternatives. Will was very helpful and I now have new Tweeters installed. It wasn't my ears - these are tons better!!

Naim SL2 tweeter replacement

Purchased as a replacement blown up by a family member incorrectly switching on the hifi system.
Easy to fit (once a bit of sculpting to the tweeter mounting brackets had been completed) and sounding pretty good so far, though possible they are still bedding in.
Wiley’s gave very helpful advice over the phone before an placed the order which was delivered by Royal Mail in 24 hours. Happy customer here, would recommend to others and have no hesitation buying from this company again.
