I used these two speakers to replace the woofers on my Accoustic Research AR-6 speakers. One of the AR-6 units had developed a fault so I purchased two to provide a matched set. The ordering process was very easy via the website and delivery was fast. The Monacor speakers were well packed and replacement was easy.
I'm happy to report that they perform very well and my trusty AR-6 speakers sound as good as new.
Many thanks to everyone at Willy's Hi-Fi.
Thanks for the review Kenneth !

Hi Will,
I just wanted to say how happy I am with the replacement mid/bass drivers that you supplied for a pair of Mission 700 speakers that I was refurbishing for a friend. Very well packaged, perfect fit, sound fantastic and cheaper than anywhere else!
It is probably unfair to compare the original mission drive units to these replacements but the difference in build quality and sheer bulk of the new ones is impressive. They sound awesome!
My mate is very impressed and so am I. The only downside is that I now miss the Mission 770s that I sold back in the 80s!
Great service,
Thanks so much,
Nigel Darling.
Thankyou for your review !

Bought a pair of these to replace the failing drivers in my 20 year old Alesis M1 Active Mk2s. They are physically a near perfect match for the cabinets and are a good match electrically for the amplifier, but sound better than the original drivers. The only slight complication is the original drivers use one 2.8mm and one 4.8mm spade terminal, so you need to change one of the connectors. These have given my old monitors (now my 'kitchen speakers') a whole new lease of life. Next step is to replace the rubber surrounds with a grille.
There is a detailed review of these drivers over on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCb-rzCSK2s
Great service from Willys. They were dispatched straight away and arrived next day, very well packed.
I recently installed the Linn Keilidh active Tweeter Upgrade Kits from Willys Hifi. It works great! It took
1 month to get here snd had to pay an additional 90 euros in taxes and customs fees but it was well worth it!
The foam grill covers of my Mission 770s crumbled into dust many years ago. Only recently was I able to find what I thought would be a suitable replacement. Everything about the process went smoothly. The foam cut easily, looks good and, to my ears , is audibly transparent.
well packed, fast delivery, simple procedure
Finally got my electricity back today after the storm on Friday. Initially I was a bit apprehensive, as I had no experience in electronics. As I followed the colour coded looms, it got easier and more straightforward. Guess what! My Mission 753s sound better than they ever did in 1998 when I bought them brand new. New crossovers also brought one of my tweeters back to life (was dead for ten years) What a quality upgrade, worth every single penny. Willy and Caroline, you guys are legends.
