The Morel CAT 298 is a modern updated version of the legendary MDT-29. Featuring a field replaceable 28mm Acuflex textile dome, a large ferrofluid cooled copper voice coil, a ferrite magnet system and an aluminium faceplate, this tweeter can sound very sweet and is a excellent value. Recommended frequency use: 2000-20,000 Hz. High power rating of 80w nominal, 1000w peak.

Promptly delivered & v well wrapped & protected!
It replaces an identical unit on which I somehow managed to break a terminal connection. Superglueing didn’t work - hence replacement. Fitted now & working well, in my Cambridge Audio R50s copies. The 298s replace original KEF T27s
