The SB Acoustics SB17CAC35-8 is a 6 inch 8 ohm midwoofer featuring a geometrically reinforced hard ceramic cone and a 35mm voice coil. The ceramic layer is bonded to an aluminium substrate, this combination of materials results in an excellent stiffness to damping ratio; consequently, the midrange distortion figures are class leading. Like other drive units in the CAC range, the SB17CAC35-8 has a fine detailed sound and is largely impervious to the effects of daylight and domestic humidity making it an ideal alternative to paper / pulp types.
