Scanspeak R3004/662000 Illuminator range tweeter offering superb vocal clarity and imaging.

This ring radiator tweeter features a large roll surround and 26mm textile dome diaphragm providing a flat frequency response to above 30KHz with outstanding off-axis dispersion. The Rubber faceplate insert critically damps any chassis resonance propagation. A central phase plug ensures outstanding sound characteristics with a mild SPL increase towards 20Khz; this is not intrusive and works very well to counter 'dead' rooms and dark sounding amplification.

The unique AirCirc Magnet System comprises 6 Neodymium magnets and is mounted within an air flow optimised rear chamber; the result is the elimination of reflections and resonances that compromise the performance of traditional motors systems.
