Morel CAT 298 Tweeter
The Morel CAT 298 is a modern updated version of the legendary MDT-29. Featuring a field replaceable 28mm Acuflex textile dome, a large ferrofluid cooled copper voice coil, a ferrite magnet system and an aluminium faceplate, this tweeter can sound very sweet and is a excellent value. Recommended frequency use: 2000-20,000 Hz. High power rating of 80w nominal, 1000w peak.

I used this in custom LS3/5a speaker enclosures along with Monacor SPH-135AD woofers and custom crossovers using ClarityCap CSAs. The tweeters have a very pure sound, revealing microdetails and having a naturally smooth, response. The sound is never peaky or rough. I’m very happy with my purchase and with the service from Willys. Would buy from again for a future project!
