The Morel CAT 308 is a modern updated replacement for the legendary MDT-30. Featuring a field replaceable hand coated 28mm Acuflex textile dome, a large ferrofluid cooled Hexatech aluminium voice coil, a vented ferrite magnet system and a tuned rear chamber, this popular tweeter sounds very transparent and unfatiguing. Recommended frequency use: 2000-20,000 Hz. High power rating of 200w nominal, 1000w peak.

excellent driver

Purchased as a pair to replace a blown unit in a pair of Rega Juras (they used a plastic faceplate version of the MDT30S in the Jura) these units, combined with a better quality series capacitor, raise the bar considerably in what you can expect from what were relatively cheap speakers.
