The Morel ST728 is a high-end 28mm soft dome tweeter from the Supreme range. An advanced design featuring many of Morels proprietary technologies engineered into a compact body of just 53mm (faceplate 72mm) - the diminutive dimensions in no way impact the sound quality which is on par with it's full size stable mates.
Features include an underhung Hexatech™ Aluminium voice coil, Neodymium flat pancake ring magnet, diecast alloy rear chamber & an IDR Aluminium faceplate. The dome assembly is hand coated with Acuflex damping compound and is field replaceable. Power handling is high at 120w.
As can be seen from the datasheet, the ST 728 has an incredibly smooth response; the critical 2kHz-10kHz band is held within 2.2 dB limits and the off axis response is excellent.
