Based on the Illuminator R3004/602000, this 27mm ring radiator tweeter is specially upgraded and response optimised for in car use. Features include a red alloy phase correction plug, a high power SD-2 Symmetrical Drive Neodymium magnet system, protective multi-hex grille and a low profile aluminium body with a non resonant rear chamber - ideal for car doors or other confined mounting positions. Built from top quality component parts, this compact tweeter is rated at 130w maximum power and is fully comparable to the renowned full size Illuminator and Revelator tweeters.
All of the Automotive range of tweeters feature Neodymium magnet assemblies, these are far more powerful than their traditional ferrite counterparts allowing for a range of compact drive units that offer a level of performance belying their size.
