Offered in 2 or 3 way configuration featuring 1mm OFC high current laminated bar core inductors in the low pass section, air core inductors in the treble section and high quality metal film capacitors - all components are bonded to the PCB to eliminate possible rattles.

The SB Acoustics SB20FRPC30-8 is an exciting new 8" full range drive unit that challenges far costlier models.
We've had to wait a good while for this one but boy was it worth it. If you think that multiple drive units are required for true full range reproduction you're in for a surprise - the performance of the SB20FRPC30-8 at this price point is epic. A special mention here for the bass response which is warm, full & fast - far removed from the majority of thin sounding full range units regardless of cost.

The D19TD-05-08 is possibly the most popular 19mm soft dome of all time. Found in a huge amount of respected and award winning models from manufacturers such as Mission, Rogers, Heybrook, JPW AP2 and AP3, Monitor Audio and countless others, this relatively inexpensive tweeter is a very capable performer hence its long term popularity from the 1980s onwards. Directly replaces SEAS 19TFF1 / H0737-08; also a fine replacement for the Celestion HF2000 & HF2001 found in various Ditton models.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of the complete collection of full range (or wide band) drive units form SB Acoustics. These small drive units offer excellent value and are highly adaptable making them ideal for custom build sound bars, desktop speakers, sound reinforcement and discrete in-car installations.

L-Pad attenuators are used to adjust the output levels of speakers somewhat like a volume control. The basic internal configuration of an L-pad is a ganged network of two variable power resistors, one in series with the speaker and the other in parallel thus providing a constant impedance regardless of their setting; this allows fine tuning and balancing of multiple unit systems. As the impedance remains constant, the crossover is unaffected.
Though primarily associated with midrange and treble drivers, the higher powered L-Pads can be used to control low frequency drivers; many of our customers use these in guitar amplifiers.
We stock 4 ohm, 8 ohm and the elusive 16 ohm versions.
