Up and running again exactly what I needed. Great job Willys. 10/10👊🏻🫵🏻. From start to finish will be use again in near future for crossover upgrade. 1st time using. 100% will use again
Since 1991, I've had Linn Keilidh speakers, which I upgraded a year later to an active system using the Linn Wakonda and two LK100 power amplifiers. Over the past few years, I’ve considered replacing my audio setup with a more compact active system. However, the downside is that it would require a significant investment to achieve a comparable sound quality.
In the end, I opted for an upgrade of the tweeters and new speaker covers after more than 30 years.
The upgrade itself went smoothly using the supplied solder. I’m very pleased with the end result. The upgrade has had a noticeable impact on the soundstage: the bass, midrange and treble all have more space and clarity within the stereo image. This first became apparent to me when listening to vocals—it’s as if you can perceive the space surrounding the voice. And the longer you listen, the more this spatial detail stands out.
I’ve turned the amplifier up slightly, as creating that sense of space seems to require a bit more power.
It’s an upgrade I can definitely recommend.
Wow, just had my Mission 753 upgrades of crossover and also tweeters. What a difference it’s made! The high frequencies are more refined and OMG, the separation and richness of mud and bass if awesome…..much thanks to Willy’s for giving my 753’s a new life 😀😀
Excellent advice from will as usual and exactly what I wanted. These have improved the sound of my current speakers and taken them to another level. Sounds superb I can hear tonal difference's between things that I never heard before. Superb bass drivers dig so deep.
As usual will has been outstanding.
Brilliant to deal with always helpful and gives great service.
What a brilliant capacitor, from first listen exceptional clarity and depth. Bargain will be buying more.
