The Peerless D27TG-35-06 is a high Performance 1" Tweeter featuring a tuned and damped double rear chamber, giving a low resonant frequency of 911 Hz. The voice coil / gap is filled with low damping ferrofluid for cooling / thermal stability without affecting the transient response; the voice coil is terminated with tinsel braided leads.

Used in PMC models: FB1, TB1, TB1S, TB2, TB2S, DB1, DB1S. Also fits some early ATC models.

An excellent upgrade tweeter for the Mission 753 Freedom and Vifa D25TG / D26TG models.

Arcam Alpha speakers resurrected!

Thanks to Will for advising on a replacement for these classic Arcam speakers from the early 90s. Good value and quick shipping. This was a small restoration project on this sealed box design - these now sound punchy, crisp and clear and really fill the room. Tweeters seem to still be breaking in as the detail and imaging just keeps getting better! Looking forward to coming back for parts for the next project!

Peerless Top End

Great priced tweeters for some old 3 way speakers that I was restoring. These speakers are very bright and crisp at the top end as what you would expect from Peerless as they have been making decent drive units for over 50 years of my own experience.

Mission 752 Freedom tweeters and crossover upgrade parts

I’d just like to say a big thanks to Will for his helpful advice.

He advised and supplied the parts I needed to replace the tweeters and upgrade the crossovers in my Mission 752 Freedom’s.
